Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP)
As a provider for the AzEIP program, RISE Pediatric Therapies supports children from birth to age 3 who have significant developmental delays. Once eligibility for the program has been established, your child is assigned a Team Lead and a team made up of pediatric therapy professionals. This may include specialists from speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and/or developmental special instruction. We use a play-based therapy model for children, and we coach parents and caregivers on how to support their child at home. With flexible scheduling and training that takes place in your home and community, our early childhood development specialists work within your established schedule and routines to model skills and behaviors.
Therapy for Developmental Disabilities
For children who don’t qualify for AzEIP, our clinic provides therapies for developmental disability to children from birth to young adulthood. We use a routine-based medical model and work with several insurance providers. We also accept private pay. This specialized therapy for kids includes speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and certified Dynamic Movement Intervention. As always, we encourage parent and caregiver participation, as we’ve found strong support at home gives the best outcomes for the child and the family.
